My piano music utilizes conventional techniques from canonical keyboard repertoire. It has been my goal to compose music for pianists that is both practical and engaging. Immediate accessibility, idiomatic keyboard writing, and stylistic eclecticism are three hallmarks of my piano music. Hopefully, I have composed piano music that appeals to students, teachers, amateurs, and virtuosos alike.

Some of my piano music has been recognized in competitions including the New York City Contemporary Music Symposium- Call for Scores (Three Inventions-FINALIST) and New York City's Locrian Chamber Players- Call for Scores (Five Pages From A City Journal-WINNER). My piano music falls neatly into 5 categories: 1) Easy piano music (early intermediate to early advanced), 2) neoclassical works, 3) eclectic-contemporary works, 4) collaborative piano works, and 5) piano with orchestra. Three Soundscapes
For Violin & Piano
Originally composed to celebrate the
Trinity River Corridor Project (a public works initiative for the city of Dallas Texas), the piece
was rededicated for the ground-breaking of
Harold Simmons Park on October 22, 2024.
The suite was composed as music to accompany the listener on an excursion of through an urban, river-front environment.

Memories of Summer

"Memories of Summer" was composed in reaction to, and as a light refreshment for the brutal and oppressive heat of Texas summers. Each movement was inspired by a personal memory, but the music encourages the listener to recall events from their own summers past
